Real Talk 1160 scored a touchdown, grand slam and three-point buzzer-beater by picking up Cincinnati sports radio veteran, Wildman Walker, off the waiver wire! Those are a lot of sports cliches, but that’s the only way to welcome Wildman Walker to Real Sports on Real Talk 1160.

The Wildman joins Rick “The Brick,” Kevin Couch and Jeff “Pic” Piecoro on Real Sports! This format of Sports Talk Radio is rarely attempted due to the fact that most program directors are afraid of too many voices in the studio at once. But we’re taking the gamble in order to provide a “multi-opinion” sports radio program. That’s what sports is all about…everyone has an opinion! And we want to hear yours!!

After 25 years as a Cincinnati Radio icon, Dennis “Wildman” Walker, becomes the newest sports voice on Real Talk 1160. Wildman found national acclaim in 1996 by living on a billboard for two months, until the Cincinnati Bengals won their first game of the season. He’s also the original voice of the Cincinnati Cyclones from their inception back in 1990 to present day. We’re lucky to have someone of his caliber joining us on the Real Talk 1160 team. The Wildman brings his vast knowledge of sports trivia and love for all-things sports, espcially the Cincinnati Reds and Peter Rose (there’s that number again!).

Real Sports With Wildman Walker also features Jeff Piecoro. “Pic” provides insight on the Reds with the “Reds Update,” while entering his 12th season with Fox Sports Ohio and 11th season as host of the EMMY award winning Reds Live. He hosts Bengals Spotlight and Reds Classic Rewind. The 1985 graduate of The University of Kentucky played football at his alma mater for five seasons, 1980-1984. He is currently the color analyst for the University of Kentucky radio network. Jeff will be back in-studio at the end of the Reds season.

Kevin Couch comes home to Cincinnati after a stint in L.A. as part of the Hollywood Hamilton and Gary Bryan Morning Shows on K_Earth 101. Kevin still provides content for the show through Bryan’s Radio Genius Prep Service. Couch’s credits also include National Lampoon’s satellite comedy radio network, On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, Sirius Radio’s Blue Collar Comedy Channel (Kevin has killer stand-up comedian skills!), Hollywood Improv and the TBS Comedy Festival in Las Vegas. You may remember Kevin as “Kevin Cooshay” on the 97X (WOXY) Breakfast Club back in the mid-90s.

And lastly, but certainly not least, Rick “The Brick” Ucchino is a Cincinnati native and product of The Ohio Center for Broadcasting and remains an instructor there. He received Best Overall Student and Best On-Air Talent awards after attending the year-long program. Rick has produced Eric Deters, Andy Furman, The Other Guys and is the glue that holds Real Sports together. Rick is also the Assistant Program Director of Real Talk 1160 and Executive Producer of Real Sports with Wildman Walker.
