Simon Kenton Football

Simon Kenton High School will have their entire football regular season and post-season broadcast LIVE on the radio for the second straight year. Steve Jarnicki of Steve Jarnicki Productions will provide radio play-by-play coverage as all games can be heard on radio station WQRT Real Talk 1160 AM and will stream online at www.realtalk1160.com

Jarnicki will host a 30 minute pre-game show which will air prior to kickoff before every game. Included in the pre-game show will be an interview with Jeff Marksberry, Head Football Coach of Simon Kenton HS. Also there will be a 1 Hour "Coaches Show" to prevew the season. The show will air Monday August 15 7:00-8:00 PM at LaRosa's in Independence. The "Coaches Show" will feature interviews with Coach Marksberry along with his Simon Kenton football players.

Steve Jarnicki is a radio and TV sportscaster from Cincinnati having graduated from Sycamore HS in 2002 and Bowling Green State University in 2006 with a degree in Interpersonal Communications. Jarnicki began his career by announcing games as a college student at BGSU. He has done play-by-play for the Sioux City Explorers, an independent minor league baseball team in Sioux City, Iowa, TV play-by-play for featured high school and college sporting events on The Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN), and created his own local sports talk radio show First Serves which aired on Fox Sports Radio 1230 WCWA in Toledo, Ohio. Last year, Jarnicki did play-by-play for Simon Kenton basketball, football, and NKU baseball on Real Talk 1160.
