University of Cincinnati Baseball

The University of Cincinnati will have Nineteen (19) of their baseball games broadcasted during the 2012 season starting March 18 versus Michigan State and concluding May 9 at Miami. Steve Jarnicki of Steve Jarnicki Productions will provide radio play-by-play coverage as all games can be heard on WQRT Real Talk 1160 AM and will stream online at www.realtalk1160.com

Jarnicki will host a 30 minute pre-game show which will air prior to first pitch before every game. Included in the pre-game show will be an interview with head baseball coach Brian Cleary, the day’s starting lineups, and a preview of the game.

About Steve Jarnicki

Jarnicki provides play-by-play coverage for the Florence Freedom Professional Baseball Team, University of Cincinnati Bearcats Baseball, and Simon Kenton (KY) High School basketball and football. Simon Kenton is the only high school in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky market to have their entire seasons broadcast live on the radio.

Jarnicki is a radio and TV sportscaster from Cincinnati having graduated from Sycamore HS in 2002 and Bowling Green State University in 2006 with a degree in Interpersonal Communications. Jarnicki began his career by announcing games as a college student at BGSU. He has done play-by-play for the Sioux City Explorers, an independent minor league baseball team in Sioux City, Iowa, TV play-by-play for featured high school and college sporting events on The Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN), and created his own local sports talk radio show First Serves which aired on Fox Sports Radio 1230 WCWA in Toledo, Ohio.
