Bulldog Nation with Eric Deters
Listen Live: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 9:00 am
No talk show host in the entire country brings to the radio the blend of passion, brains and common sense that Eric “The Bulldog” Deters brings. It allows him to deliver what he calls “radio superbity.”
He graduated from high school at the age of fifteen. By nineteen, he had a history and business degree. By twenty-two, he was a lawyer.
He has an active law practice with four offices and is licensed in the state of Kentucky, Ohio and Florida. Through special permission, he can go to any state to handle any case and he does. He’s been voted the Best Lawyer in Cincinnati by 15,000 City Beat readers.
He’s been the #1 viewed lawyer profile out of over 1.4 million on martindale.com, the popular lawyer review site. He handles high profile cases and takes on causes. He’s a newsmaker, not just a talk show host. He has experience providing legal commentary on local news networks and national shows from CNN to Fox News.
He’s published three books, is writing two more and writes weekly columns for four newspapers. He blogs Monday through Friday and sends out a newsletter of his “witty and wise” take on current events and life in general twice a week.
He served as the two time Morconi Award Winner, Willie Cunningham’s backup and as a weekend host on 700 WLW before joining Real Talk 1160.
He is a frequent public speaker at events from graduations to Tea Party rallies. He has even successfully performed stand up comedy at the Funny Bone Comedy Club, Newport, Kentucky.
He has political experience. He served as both a county and congressional district chairman and managed statewide campaigns. He considers himself conservative, libertarian and pragmatic all rolled into one. His three pillars for America are God, Constitution and Bill of Rights and Capitalism. He’s even drafted a national political platform.
He grew up on a farm where he worked until he was nineteen. He still helps put in hay when they need help. As a farm boy, the Bulldog stays grounded. Being married with five children keeps him working.
He has the following other experiences: business owner, publisher of a community newspaper, MMA fighter, charitable fundraiser, teacher and coach. He shares stories about it all.
He devours history, sees nearly every major movie, reads daily the following papers- New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Columbus Dispatch, Louisville Courier Journal, Cincinnati Enquirer and Lexington Herald Leader. He also reads local, regional and national subscriptions.
Eric is informed and passionate about what he believes. He received the nickname “Bulldog” because he is in the causes he champions.
