Real Talk 1160 is excited to announce that the mantle of the king of afternoon sports talk shows, Andy Furman, has been passed on to
The Other Guys starting December 19th, 2011.
The Other Guys Sports Show will be hosted by Jeff Piecoro, current host of Reds Live on Fox Sports Ohio and color analyst for the University of Kentucky radio network, Rick “The Brick” Wall, long-time producer and co-host with The Andy Furman Show and The Finest Hour, and Jeremy “J-Lance” Lance, current co-host of The Finest Hour and Metro Networks contributor covering the Cincinnati Reds.
Still riding the national media attention wave generated by news that a recent UC/Xavier college basketball brawl was potentially ignited by comments made on Real Talk 1160 WQRT the Friday before the game, the 1160 sports tradition of hard hitting sports talk continues into the new year with a new show hosted by The Other Guys.
Jeff Piecoro is entering his 12th season with Fox Sports Ohio and 11th season as host of the EMMY award winning Reds Live. He hosts Bengals Spotlight and Reds Classic Rewind. The 1985 graduate of The University of Kentucky played football at his alma mater for five seasons, 1980-1984. He is currently the color analyst for the University of Kentucky radio network.
Rick “The Brick” Wall is a Cincinnati native and graduate of Fairfield High School. Having studyied journalism at the University of Cincinnati, he transferred to the Ohio Center for Broadcasting and graduated in 2009. Recently he has been producer and co-host of The Andy Furman show and also hosts The Finest Hour weekend sports show on Real Talk 1160.
Jeremy “J-Lance” Lance attended Wright State and the Ohio Center for Broadcasting and currently covers the Cincinnati Reds for Metro Networks. He has done extensive freelance coverage of the Reds on ESPN Radio, Sporting News Radio, AP and ESPN 1000 in Chicago. He is also currently a co-host of The Finest Hour weekend sports talk show on Real Talk 1160.
